Selene

Selene, the Demigoddess of the Moon, is faithful. One example is the story of Endymion. Selene fell in love with Endymion, the Shepard. One night when she was riding her silver chariot across the sky, it came to her attention that Endymion would one day grow old and die. Selene was so in love with Endymion that she asked Zeus if he could pick his own fate. Zeus agreed, and Endymion chose never to grow old and instead, he would sleep eternally. Another reason Selene, the moon demigoddess, is loyal is because she visits the sleeping Endymion every night in her chariot drawn by white horses and kisses him with her luminous rays of light. In conclusion, from this story, you can see that Selene is an unfailing moon demigoddess and will always be by her Endymion's side every night during his endless slumber.
