Poseidon

Poseidon, the god of the sea, was very moody. One way that Poseidon was unpredictable was that some days he was in a good mood, and he created many animals to fill the ocean such as fish, sea horses, and seals, all changing in different colors, shapes, sizes, and species.  If he was in a decent mood, he created islands and mounds of land throughout the ocean for the sailors that relied upon him to have a safe journey across his kingdom, the sea. In addition, he would make the waters calm and flat to make it easier for sailors to travel. Another reason that Poseidon was unstable was that he was very changeable and would suddenly go from a happy mood to an angry, annoyed mood. If Poseidon was in a bad mood, he made massive tidal waves crash upon the shore. Also, Poseidon could strike his golden trident into the ground, which caused shipwrecks, earthquakes, choppy water, and drowning. From the reasons stated, Poseidon was a temperamental god.
