Aphrodite

In the Greek myths the beautiful goddess Aphrodite is cruel. The first reason she is cruel is because when Zeus declares she must be married right away, she chooses Hephaestus. That was mean because there were many men offering her everything she could have possibly wanted, but Hephaestus just said he would be a good husband because he worked late. Since he was so ugly, she really did not want to marry him; however, since he worked late, she could go out and be with other men while he is still working. Merciless, she was took advantage of Hephaestus when he was only saying he would do something for her. The second reason is that in the story of Eros and Psyche, Aphrodite gets jealous because Psyche is just as beautiful as she. Making an evil plan to make Psyche wish she was never beautiful, Aphrodite calls over her son Eros to scratch her with his love arrows while she is sleeping so that when she wakes up, she will fall in love with some hideous creature. In conclusion, Aphrodite may be the goddess of love and beauty, but on the inside, she is hateful and spiteful.
