Artemis

Artemis, a goddess in the Pantheon, was a very spoiled child. On her third birthday, Zeus commanded that Leto, her mother, take Apollo, her brother, and Artemis to Mount Olympus. Because he favored Artemis over Apollo, Zeus decided that Artemis could choose her birthday gifts rather than being given some. Taking her power into her own hands, Artemis decided to ask for a silver bow and arrow, an embroidered deerskin tunic, fifty ocean nymphs, twenty wood nymphs, a pack of fierce hounds, one city, many names, and to always be ZeusŐs maiden. Agreeing to this, Zeus, had begun overindulging Artemis with gifts. Later on in her life, she became coddled with power. Having seventy nymphs in total to take care of was a very difficult task for Artemis, which meant that some of them slipped out of her sight. One day, a beautiful nymph named Callisto snuck away and was seduced by Zeus. After Artemis found out about this, she became enraged. Finding Callisto, she turned her into a she-bear and had her ferocious hounds shred the nymph to bits. Therefore, Artemis was very pampered.
