Prometheus
|
|
Prometheus, the Greek
Titan, is very rebellious. Even though Zeus does not like being pestered with
questions, Prometheus asks him questions about the humans over and over. Prometheus
does not care if this makes Zeus mad or angry and asks it anyway. Later in
this story, Prometheus decides that the humans need fire even though Zeus
does not want them to have it. Early in the morning Prometheus lights a twig
on fire and gives it to the humans. Zeus was so aggravated that he tied
Prometheus up to a rock and had an eagle pick out his liver every day. This
proves the Prometheus is a rebel because he defied the king of gods, Zeus.
These examples prove that Prometheus is a troublemaker. |
