Artemis, one of the Greek goddesses, is very spoiled. When
she was only three years old she asked, her father Zeus asked her what she
wanted. She asked her father for many names, a silver bow and arrow, an
embroidered deerskin tunic short enough to run, in fifty ocean nymphs to sing
for her, twenty wood nymphs to hunt with, fierce and swift hunting hounds,
one city, and finally she wanted always to be ZeusŐs maiden. Without
hesitation, Zeus immediately gave her all she wanted and that is a lot to ask
for when she is just three years old. Another example is when she went to Pan
the goat god to get the hunting hounds. Instead of just getting a few, she
got ten of them, but, not only did she boldly take ten but she got the ten
best ones. All in all, Artemis always wants her own way, and she usually gets
it too. . |
