Echo, the dryad, was
kind-hearted. This is because she would always sing and tell stories to the
creatures of the woods. Because EchoÕs voice was so beautiful and the woodÕs
inhabitants loved to hear her voice, she took time out of her day to sing for
them or tell them tales. Knowing that because she was very jealous, Hera
would be extremely mad at Zeus if she caught him with another woman, Echo distracted Hera long enough for
Zeus and the nymph he was with
to hide. When Zeus was with a wood nymph and Hera came looking for him, Echo
distracted Hera long enough for Zeus to escape. In conclusion, Echo was a
very benevolent character. |
