Persephone, the gorgeous goddess of flowers, was very stubborn. One example was the time when she was out painting flowers. She noticed a new, peculiar-looking bush, and the goddess decided she was not keen on it, so she put all her strength into pulling the unique bush out of the ground. Persistently, Persephone tugged on the plant, but it became troublesome because its roots were tightly fastened in the dirt. Still, she pulled on the bush until it came out of the ground because she was used to getting her way, and she would never give up. Another time occurred when the goddess was kidnapped and taken to the underworld. Cooking delicious meals, giving her extravagant gifts, and doing everything else possible to make her happy, Hades, her admirer, tried to please her in many ways. However, the obstinate goddess played hard-to-get. Even though she secretly enjoyed the change, and kept up her pretense for a long time. Persephone pretended to dislike the underworld. As you can see, Persephone, the flower goddess and the queen of the underworld, was a truly tenacious woman.
