Eros, the love god, is very
sneaky in Greek mythology. Aphrodite, his mother, was jealous of Apollo, and
sent Eros to do her dirty work. Eros becomes invisible to shoot Apollo with a
love arrow to make him fall in love with Daphne. Because he was invisible and
devious, he would was not detected by Apollo. In another myth, Eros falls in
love with Psyche, against his motherÕs will. Aphrodite is jealous of Psyche.
He becomes her Òinvisible husband.Ó If he was not sneaky, Aphrodite would
have found out and punished him. In conclusion, Eros was undetectable. |
