It is a nocturnal animal.

This rattlesnake was much smaller than I expected. Their body
gets wide but not very long. They have long hollow fangs and are highly
venomous. I enjoyed seeing this animal. My favorite part of the field trip was the visitorsŐ center. I
got to hold a Kestrel, pet a Barn Owl and Western Banded Gecko. I also got to
see all the snakes, rodents, and lizards found in the punchbowl. This was an
amazing fieldtrip and I hope I can visit the Devils Punchbowl again. |
