The academic subjects of language arts, math and social studies are taught in both a traditional and dynamic program. Teachers prepare courses of study to meet the learning style of each student.
Lower school students attend special subjects in art, music, science, and technology throughout the week where the program often is integrated with the classroom. Special subjects provide significant value toward the quality of each student’s knowledge and gives them opportunities to develop in areas beyond academics.
Three times a week students attend physical education. The coaches focus on individual growth, sportsmanship, team spirit, and physical skills.
Once a week students visit the library.
The math and reading resource teachers support any student who requires additional learning experiences in these areas.
Home work is considered a very important part of the school program providing the students with the opportunity to develop proper work habits, grow in responsibility and encourage independence.
Field trips throughout the school year support classroom learning.
