After School Programs

In support of our School’s mission of celebrating the magic of childhood through discovery, play, and wonder, our after school programs offer students opportunities to stay on campus beyond the school day.
Through our After School Enrichment Program, After School Care, and Birthday Party Program, students across different grade levels extend their learning, build community, and foster belonging at JTD.
After School Enrichment Program
The After School Enrichment Program (ASE) provides an opportunity for students to participate in extracurricular classes.
A robust selection of classes vary from session to session and year to year. Offerings in the past have included classes that are extensions of what is taught during the school day (e.g. science, art, music, etc.) or offerings outside of the academic program (e.g. coding, world language, chess, etc.). The classes are offered to students in Kindergarten through Grade 6, and are taught by both JTD faculty and outside contractors. All classes are located on campus and run from 3:20 to 4:20pm.
After School Care
The After School Care Program (ASC) is provided for JTD families for an additional expense and offers an opportunity for students to complete homework, participate in extracurricular activities, meet new friends, and spend supervised time after school from 3:05 to 6:00pm daily.
The ASC Program has been designed to meet the needs of the children and their families from Kindergarten through Grade 6. The program includes a designated time for homework, relaxing "down time," and outside playtime. A simple, healthy snack is provided.
Birthday Party Program
The Birthday Party Program offers a convenient and cost-effective way for children to celebrate their birthdays after the school day ends.
Students are invited to celebrate their birthdays on campus with their teachers as the party hosts! This inclusive birthday party solution helps families make party planning easy. An exciting selection of party themes are offered and vary from year to year. Offerings in the past have included gym, art, camp, hiking, and science themed birthday parties.
