The K - 3 physical education program provides an introduction and instruction to a wide variety of traditional and dynamic fun lead-up activities that promote fitness and enhance motor coordination and skills. Participation, effort, sportsmanship, and following the 5C’s are at the heart of the program.
Competition is kept to a minimum to strengthen self-image and confidence. Cooperation in group games and teamwork are emphasized in all activities. We believe that P.E. should be a fun and rewarding experience for everyone and the progress of all students is most important, no matter the skill level or athletic ability. Praise and recognition are always given for participation, effort, good sportsmanship, and positive 5C's behavior.
